I am so excited to share with you all today one of my favorite people in the wedding industry, Flowers by Shamay. I have had the pleasure of working with Shamay for over the last few years. Shamay never ceases to amaze me with her talent and creative take on floral arrangement. One of the things that really love about working with Shamay is that she is never just about the flowers. She is a true designer, through and through. She takes into account the aesthetics of the venue, personalities of her couples, and uses linens and decor choices to elevate her designs. If you are looking for a top notch florist in our area, look no further. You found her here. Learn more about Shamay below!

Tell us a little bit about who are you and what you do in the wedding industry.

Shamay focuses on lush floral designs knowing flowers are a key component to every event. She loves finding unique inspirations and unexpected touches for each client. Her favorite part of the experience is seeing clients faces light up as they preview finished designs. Shamay wants her clients to have a happy ending.

Every entrepreneur has a story. Tell us a little bit about yours. How did you end up running your business?

Shamay’s story began on a trip to Australia. A seed of Shamay’s unique creativity was planted from a friend and her talent grew from there.

What makes you stand out when compared with other professionals in your field?

Personalized customer service and my creative talent. I have a gift to tap into what a bride is thinking but doesn’t quite know how to describe her complete vision. I can bring those floral dreams to life, plus add in details that complete their day.

What is one piece of advice you would give to couples planning their wedding?

Planning the wedding is the wedding. Make the most out of all the mini events before the wedding. Then you can reflect back on more than just the wedding. Because the wedding day just goes so fast.

We love wedding stories. What is one memory or experience that stands out from all the weddings you have be apart of?

One of my first weddings: A bride had been turned down by seven florists because she was getting married Mother’s Day weekend. I was able to create a rose petal aisle runner, which didn’t seem to be a big deal to me, but blew the bride and photographer away. That bride and photographer turned out to be my biggest referrals. I learned the power of giving more than what the client expects pays off.

What kind of investment can clients expect if they want to work with you?

Our pricing starts at $3500.

What are 3 things you can’t live without?
