Tell us a little bit about who are you and what you do in the wedding industry.
We are Jeff & Rebecca and we are wedding photographers who own Jeff + Rebecca Photography. We believe to capture a couple in love, it takes a couple in love!
Every entrepreneur has a story. Tell us a little bit about yours. How did you end up running your business?
Jeff and I have always taken photos over the years but just for fun, it wasn’t until we bought a camera for our honeymoon that the photography bug really hit Jeff! 2 years later we had bought some of our first professional photography camera gear and he began to shoot weddings, I have always had an entrepreneurial heart and knew we would own a business one day, so I said lets do photography! Now we both are so passionate about our business and the couples we serve!
What makes you stand out when compared with other professionals in your field?
Oh it has to be the fact we are a husband and wife team who believe in providing an experience for our couples like no one else can! We invest a lot of heart into the couples who become J+R Couples and we feel that really sets us apart from other 2 photographer teams.
What is one piece of advice you would give to couples planning their wedding?
Don’t compromise on things you REALLY don’t want! When we got married we compromised on the bridesmaid dresses, on the ceremony location, on the floral, on the guest list (too much on the guest list haha) and more! And in the end I was dissapointed with the results on those things, even though we had an amazing day, I would have loved to go back and change some of those things to be more “us”.
We love wedding stories. What is one memory or experience that stands out from all the weddings you have be apart of?
Oh! That’s got to be our most recent wedding! Our gorgeous bride had learned two cultural dances for her husband and it was stunning to capture and experience!
