Here are a few things to think about:

What time of the year are you getting married?

If you are planning on an outdoor ceremony, find venues that have large outdoor garden spaces for photos. Ask what flowers will be in bloom during that time of year.

What kind of feel do you want?

If you are more of the laid back, go with the flow kind of feel, maybe a barn venue with the rustic design will best suit you and your fiance. If you are looking for something a little more elegant and upscale feeling, check out a venue that has a ballroom and large chandeliers.

How many guests are you inviting?

This is a big one. It is so important to figure out how many guests you want to have PRIOR to touring venues for your wedding. Often we hear our brides fell in love with a venue and now are struggling to make it work with their guest count.
