Tell us a little bit about who are you and what you do in the wedding industry.
We are Mistry & Scott…a husband and wife photography team! We offer a full service Wedding Photography experience for our couples.
Every entrepreneur has a story. Tell us a little bit about yours. How did you end up running your business?
There is a long & a short version to this story…we’ll give you the short version, but feel free to ask us in person if you’re interested in the long version (because we LOVE to tell stories)! Scott has always had a love for photography…Mistry has always had a love for weddings! In 2011 Scott felt the need to pursue his passion of photography, when he suggested the possibility of photographing Weddings together it was a perfect fit! We find so much joy working together with each of our couples! And it’s really quite incredible how each of our strengths compliments each other so well!
What makes you stand out when compared with other professionals in your field?
Obviously it’s important to each of our couples to have beautiful images of their Wedding Day, so we are constantly focused on delivering on that promise! But, what we feel makes us a little different is that we are focused on giving our clients an amazing experience from beginning to end…we don’t just show up the day of the wedding to take pictures, we get to know our couples and we think they all deserve an amazing experience! We love forming a relationship with each of our couples, so that on the day of their wedding they feel comfortable & relaxed…which results in genuine, joyful images! We also work very closely with each couple to make sure the flow of the wedding day is set up in a way that helps our couples enjoy the day together, rather than feeling rushed or stressed. We spend a considerable amount of time ahead of the Wedding Day to ensure that everything runs smoothly the day of the wedding!
What is one piece of advice you would give to couples planning their wedding?
When you are looking for your Wedding Team (all the professionals that are going to help you make your day amazing) make sure you take the time to find people you CONNECT with! It is important that you trust these professionals so that you can enjoy your big day!
We love wedding stories. What is one memory or experience that stands out from all the weddings you have be apart of?
Oh my…that is so hard!! It’s like asking a mother to choose her favorite child…because honestly each and every wedding we do is unique and holds special memories for us. One type of experience that stands out that has actually happened quite a few times is when a special family heirloom has been incorporated into the day or given to the bride or groom during the getting ready time. It is always a very special moment between mother & daughter (or father & groom, etc) and we have always felt honored to witness and be a part of such a special time.
What kind of package offerings do you provide? (Optional) What price range?
All of our Wedding Collections include an Engagement Session, day of Wedding coverage by both Mistry & Scott, the digital images & credit towards an album. Our Wedding Collections begin at $3000 and most of our couples invest around $5000.
What are 3 things you can’t live without?
